Naturally durable NZ plantation grown preservative-free timber!
This product is sourced from remnant NZ Forest service plantings dating from the 1930’s and 1940’s in South Westland, south of Hokitika.
These plantings grew very slowly on the poor glacial soils, and consequently have yielded weatherboard grade timber which is very tight grain and outstanding quality in a tight knot all heartwood grade. An amazing looking natural weatherboard cladding!
We keep this standard profile in stock and ready for dispatch.
Kiln dried Bevel Back weatherboard 140*19 giving cover of 110mm per board. Other profiles can be machined to your order… usually no extra cost.
Bandsawn face is also available ….$0.60 extra per lm.
Random lengths up to 5.4m.
All other profiles are available..usually no extra cost, although machine set-up charges will apply on small orders of non stock profiles.
