September update….
Hardwood flooring is still our focus this month as we complete our latest blackwood cut. We have lots of high quality flooring stock drying and getting machined in September. Japanese cedar stock is coming through regularly and we also have packs of lawson cypress and macrocarpa coming out of the kiln.
June 2022…. all about hardwood flooring
The sawmill is busy processing blackwood logs into our premium flooring products. Orders are being taken now for our latest cut of wide board solid flooring. Packs are coming and going and we have a big queue of flooring packs at the machine shop. Also macrocarpa cladding stock is coming on stream this month.
May 2022 update.. jobs on at the moment….
Blackwood logging is in full swing for our new flooring stock. 1000 Tonne of plantation grown blackwood logs have arrived so we are busy cutting and restocking all our blackwood flooring lines. Lawson cypress and japanese cedar cladding and panelling stock is drying and will start to come out of kiln this month. Several hundred M2 of wide rimu flooring stock has just gone to the CHCH kilns for processing as well.
Feb 2022 update…
Japanese cedar processing is going flat out along with new stocks of NZ grown spruce panelling products. Blackwood flooring orders have been keeping us very busy since we started after xmas and we are scheduled to cut more blackwood stock soon. A logging crew is booked and logs will be arriving from 1st March. Time to blow the cobwebs out of our big frame saw…….
